Installation Notes:

  1. Download the ZIP file and save to a convenient location on your system.
  2. The ZIP file contains:
    a) AUTOMATION 40 (pcschematic_automation40_uk13.exe)
    b) AUTOMATION Viewer (Pcsvieuk.exe)
    c) AUTOMATION User Manual (AutoMan12uk.exe)
    d) AUTOMATION Quick Start Manual (UK_Quick_Start_Manual 074-100 031-002.pdf)
    e) AUTOMATION project example walkthrough (Quick start I.pdf)
    f)  Floor plan installation example walkthrough (Quick start II.pdf)
  3. Extract the six files from the ZIP file to the same download folder.
  4. Install AUTOMATION 40 - Run pcschematic_automation40_uk13.exe with administrator rights. By default it installs to folder C:\PCSEL40 and only takes a few minutes. Shortcuts are placed in the start menu and/or the desktop.
  5. Install the user manual - Run AutoMan12uk.exe with administrator rights. It will browse for the installation folder of AUTOMATION 40. Follow the prompts and it will install the manual in the correct location.
