The Ballarat Radio Model Flying Club Christmas Raffle 2009 was drawn at 9:00PM
on Wednesday 16th December at the Atlantic Hotel in Skipton Street by a staff
member.
The winning ticket was number 0090
bought by Glenice Harrison of Avoca and sold by club president Matt Porter.
We sincerely hope Glenice enjoys the
prize.
The club would like to thank all who supported the raffle to make it a success.
The prize will be delivered by Matt.

The Ballarat Radio Model Flying Club Annual Model Flying Display Raffle - 2009 was drawn
around 3:00PM on Sunday 5th April 2009 towards the end of our flying display
in front of the spectators.
First prize (a Radio Control Trainer Aircraft with OS55AX engine) was won by
Flory Juarez of Alfredton Victoria. Second prize (a $100 fuel voucher from APCO
Main Road Ballarat) was won by L. Farnsworth of Avoca Victoria. Both prizes have
been passed on to the winners.
The club would like to thank all who supported the raffle.

- 03 March 2009 - The advertising flyer for our
Annual Flying Display
to be held on Sunday 5th April
has been posted on the web site. The
Display Day Raffle is now underway. This year
the main prize is a Boomerang Trainer and an OS 46AX motor which is a great
combination to help someone get started in radio control model flying. There will also be a
mystery second prize of reasonable value. Tickets will be $2 each and will be sold during the lead
up to the display, and also during the event. The raffle will then be drawn around
3:30PM on the day. Many thanks once again to Roj's Hobbies for supporting our raffle.
If you would like tickets in the raffle
but cannot make it to the display send an email to the
Secretary or phone on 0437 842 277.

The Ballarat Radio Model Flying Club Christmas

on Wednesday 17th December at the Blackhill Hotel in Peel Street North.
The winning ticket was number 0040
bought by Sean Duggan, a patron enjoying the Blackhill hotel atmosphere and cuisine.
We sincerely hope Sean enjoys the
prize.
The club would like to thank all who supported the raffle to make it a success.
The winner was present during the draw and collected the prize at the
hotel.

14 November 2008 - Updated the
ARF Scale Comp Results page with the results of the competition held at BRMFC
field on Sunday 26th October 2008.

The Ballarat Radio Model Flying Club Annual Model Flying Display Raffle - 2008 was drawn at 3:15PM on Sunday 6th April 2008 towards the end of our flying display
in front of the spectators.
First prize (A Radio Control Trainer Aircraft complete with OS 46AX engine and Multiplex
Radio) was won by Terry Weatherson of Newborough Victoria who was present and received
the prize. Due to a technical hitch the identity of the 2nd and 3rd prize winners
has been lost but they were also present when the raffle was drawn and received
their prizes. The photo on the left was taken during the draw - there
are more photos on our photo gallery page. Second prize was a Portable LCD screen DVD player, while third prize
was a set of torches.
The club would like to thank all who supported the raffle.

Display Day Raffle is about to get underway. This year
the main prize is a Boomerang Trainer complete with OS 46AX motor, 7 Channel Multiplex
radio and Hitec servos. Tickets will be $2 each and will be sold during the lead
up to the display and also during the event where the raffle will be drawn around
3:30PM. Many thanks to Roj's Hobbies for supplying the airframe, motor and servos.
Second prize is a portable LCD DVD player courtesy of JB Hi-Fi Ballarat, also many

The Ballarat Radio Model Flying Club Christmas
Raffle 2007 was drawn at 10.00PM on Friday 14th December at the Blackhill Hotel in Peel Street North, Ballarat.
The winning ticket was number 0196
bought by Justin Wombwell and sold by Veronika Miles. We hope Justin enjoys the
prize.
The club would like to thank all who supported the raffle and particularly the patrons
and staff of the Blackhill Hotel.
The winner was notified immediately after the draw and collected the prize at the
hotel.

- 31 October 2007 - We managed to run the ARF Scale Competition
on Sunday 28 October 2007 under extremely challenging weather conditions. Strong
winds were felt right across the state which no doubt contributed to the lower than
expected number of entries. However we decided to press on with the competition,
some competitors deciding at the last minute not to fly.

- 03 October 2007 - Our Xmas party has been booked at the Blackhill
Hotel for Friday evening 14 December starting around 6:45PM.
- 03 October 2007 - The Xmas Raffle 2007 (Barrow Load of Xmas Cheer)
will get under way by 13 October. The prize will be located at Stitched up-On Curtis,
75 Curtis Street Ballarat from 19 November.
